This page explains the rules for using StudyBlitzer and how we handle your data. It's written in plain language on purpose. It is a binding agreement between you and the operator of StudyBlitzer ("we," "us").
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyBlitzer. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Keep your password private and your email address current — account emails (verification, password resets) go there. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
StudyBlitzer turns your notes into flashcards and quizzes using AI. You may use it for personal study and learning. Don't:
You keep ownership of the notes you submit and the study sets you create. We only use your content to operate the service (storing it, generating your sets, and displaying it back to you).
If you choose to make a study set public (share it in Explore), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that set within StudyBlitzer so other users can view and study it, credited to the author name you chose (or anonymously). You promise you have the necessary rights to any content you publish. You can unpublish a public set at any time from "My study sets," which ends that license going forward.
If you believe content published on StudyBlitzer infringes your copyright, email support@studyblitzer.com with (1) the URL of the material, (2) a description of the copyrighted work, (3) your contact information, and (4) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We review takedown requests promptly and remove infringing material. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will be terminated.
When you submit a YouTube link, we retrieve the video's captions from YouTube to build your notes. Only submit videos whose content you have the right to use for personal study. Your use of YouTube content is also subject to YouTube's own terms.
Study sets are generated by an AI model and may contain mistakes. Always verify important facts against your original source material. Generated content is for personal study only — it is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and we're not responsible for decisions made in reliance on it.
Donations ("Support StudyBlitzer") are voluntary, non-refundable, and processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout pages — we never see or store your card details. A donation is not a purchase of services and doesn't change your usage limits.
StudyBlitzer is a free service and may change, pause, or limit features (including daily usage caps, which vary by account activity) at any time. We may remove public content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service, and request deletion of your account, at any time.
StudyBlitzer is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including lost data, lost grades or academic outcomes, or lost profits) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of US $10 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (donations are not payments for service). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If your content or your use of the service in violation of these terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from that claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continuing to use StudyBlitzer after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We do not sell your personal data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data for advertising.
Only to run StudyBlitzer: generating and storing your study sets, keeping you logged in, sending account emails, enforcing usage limits and preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage so we can improve the service.
Before your notes are sent for processing, StudyBlitzer automatically removes common personal details — email addresses, phone numbers, and ID/card-style numbers — in your browser, so that information never reaches our servers or the AI. This is an automated safeguard, not a guarantee; please avoid uploading sensitive personal data you don't need in your study set.
Fonts and all other page assets are served from our own domain — no third-party font or CDN tracking. Our servers and providers are located in the United States; by using the service you understand your data is processed in the US.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in, and Cloudflare's bot protection may set essential security cookies. That's it — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and our traffic analytics are cookieless. Study data such as anonymous sets, "still learning" marks, and spaced-repetition schedules are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device.
Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleted sets are removed from the live database immediately; encrypted backups may retain data for up to about 60 days before cycling out. Aggregate usage counters expire automatically. To delete your account and associated data, email us and we'll remove it promptly.
You can access and edit your sets anytime, delete any set, unpublish public sets, and study without an account (anonymous sets stay in your browser). You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us — we honor these requests regardless of where you live, including rights under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will never discriminate against you for exercising them.
StudyBlitzer is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.
If our data practices change, we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
